Successful candidates are required to:
– Sell delegate places across a number of international conferences
– Meet and exceed sales activity targets
– New business – contacting new leads from competitors and other sources
– Liaise effectively with all internal departments
Previous B2B sales experience is advantageous! This can be anything from previous recruitment experience to working in a call centre selling insurance. You need to have excellent communication skills and a real hunger to earn money.
Ideal candidates should have a degree or equivalent with some sales experience but wants something with a bit more. You should be ambitious, articulate, and able to understand new market sectors quickly.
You will need to be comfortable on the phone and smart enough to understand the current business issues facing a wide range of different companies. Obviously you should have a keen interest in selling internationally, with a focus on the APAC, Middle Eastern and Eastern Europe market.
